Save the date for the annual PSI Lab in Barcelona, 1-2 December

In this year`s Public Sector Innovation Lab high-ranking international speakers will discuss the reform potential of digital technologies and open data, behavioural insights, co-creation and design-thinking for innovative policy-making and improved public services as well as the building of (local) innovation systems and its management
In addition, you will be familiarised in interactive workshops – led among others by Nesta, the frontline innovation foundation – with the leading-edge methodologies of design thinking and innovation strategy approaches to gain inspiration and tools that can be applied to your own national, regional or local context. 

Mark the 1-2 December in your agenda for a seminar full of new methodologies, exercises and practices about innovating the public sector.

  • In Search of Local Public Management Excellence Seven Journeys to Success

    This book aims to demonstrate that various creative and smart routes to excellent solutions are possible, by analysing success stories in different areas of local public management from seven European cities in the EPSA scheme – Bilbao (ES), Birmingham (UK), Mannheim (DE), Milan (IT), Tallinn (EE), Tampere (FI), and Trondheim (NO). It concludes by presenting seven steps leading to excellence. The only thing left to find out is: are other cities ready to take on the challenge?
